ORPHEUM THEATRE PRESENTS YES!
Students from 10 area school districts learn how awesome ecology is with the rockin’ eco hero, Steve Trash.
On Wednesday, February 21, The Orpheum Theatre hosted students from 10 area school districts to learn how awesome ecology is with the rockin’ eco hero, Steve Trash. Steve Trash visited The Orpheum Theatre as part of the Youth Entertainment Series, which is also known as YES! Galesburg Community Foundation is proud to support the Youth Entertainment Series through a Competitive Grant. YES!, is offered free of charge to home schools and public schools and is educational in nature.
YES! is a valuable program because not only does it serve students from multiple school districts, but it makes learning fun. YES! educates students through the magic of theatre. Students get to attend a high quality performance on The Orpheum stage—which for many is a first time experience. YES!, also offers study guides so teachers can incorporate lessons from the shows in their curriculum.
